A break through in Turkish Mortgages

We have a new Turkish mortgage provider that has successfully completed on mortgages in little over a month.
The first mortgages for Turkish property have been available since October 2006, but in reality the Dutch bank offering this mortgage has an extremely long application process and the criteria so demanding that from the 60 applicants we have forwarded to date, we have yet to get a single successful completion.

In February the Turkish Government passed a new law which reforms the Turkish Mortgage system.
We have since commenced working with a new partner for Turkish mortgages, who now offer mortgages directly from Turkish banks. We have already had successful applicants to this new company, who have already received the funds to purchase the property in a very short time from application to completion.
Over the next couple of months we expect to have mortgages available from 5 or 6 different banks and we are very close to securing mortgages for off-plan purchases.

This break through in Turkish mortgages is very welcome and we expect to have strong demand for Turkish property now that people can successfully secure a mortgage on their Turkish property.
